Privacy Policy

HumanWeb AS ("we", "us") operates Kaizen Life, a mobile-first life logistics app. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and your choices.

Data we collect

• Account data: email address, display name, and authentication credentials stored by Supabase Auth.
• App content: tasks, reminders, checklists, notes, finance entries, work records, and other items you create in your workspace.
• AI interactions: messages you send to the assistant and structured outputs generated on your behalf.
• Subscription data: plan status, billing provider (Stripe, Apple, or Google), and transaction identifiers needed to manage entitlements.
• Integration data (optional): if you connect Gmail, social accounts, or similar services, we store OAuth tokens encrypted at rest and metadata needed to show connected accounts.
• Technical data: device type, app version, and standard server logs for security and reliability.
• Website chat: if you use the chat on our public website, we do not store what you type. After each exchange we keep only short labels describing the subject raised (for example "pricing"), any hesitation expressed, and whether our assistant failed to answer — never your wording, and never anything identifying you. These labels are not linked to an account and are deleted after 180 days.
• Page analytics: we count page views on our website and record how far down a page was scrolled and how long it was actively read. This uses no cookies and no advertising trackers. We do not store your IP address, your browser's user agent, or the query string of the page you visited. A random session identifier is kept in your browser only until you close the tab.

How we use data

• Provide and sync your workspace across devices.
• Run AI features you request (processed server-side via OpenAI).
• Website chat labels: to see what visitors ask about and where our answers fall short, so we can improve the site and the assistant.
• Page analytics: to see which pages are useful and which lose people, so we can make the site clearer.
• Manage subscriptions and feature access.
• Send in-app notifications about sharing invites and account events.
• Improve reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with law.

Third-party processors

• Supabase (database, authentication)
• Vercel (application hosting)
• OpenAI (AI assistant when you use those features)
• Stripe, Apple App Store, and Google Play (payments, when applicable)
• OAuth providers you choose to connect (Google, Meta, X, LinkedIn)

Retention & deletion

We retain your data while your account is active. You may request account deletion by contacting support@kaizenlifetracker.com. We delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period unless retention is required for legal or billing obligations.
